The Wellness For Joy Journey

Friends,

There is something I have never said out loud quite as clearly as I want to say it now:

Building Wellness For Joy LLC has been one of the most challenging, most humbling, and most deeply rewarding things I have ever done.

Not because it went smoothly. Not because I had it all figured out from the beginning. But precisely because I didn’t; and I chose to move forward anyway.

A Vision Bigger Than a Plan

When Wellness For Joy began to take shape, it was not the result of a carefully mapped business strategy. It was the result of a feeling. A quiet but persistent knowing that this was what I was meant to do — that the work I had spent years studying, practicing, and living was meant to be shared.

But knowing your calling and building a business around it are two very different things.

I quickly discovered that bringing a vision to life requires more than passion. It requires learning how to market yourself, connect with people you’ve never met, and communicate the value of work that is deeply personal and sometimes hard to put into words. It requires showing up consistently, even when you’re uncertain. Even when the results aren’t visible yet. Even when the voice in your head wonders if you’re doing it right.

Entrepreneurship asked me to grow in ways I hadn’t anticipated. And I grew.

You Are Never as Alone as You Think

People often ask me: “Are you doing all of this on your own?”

In many ways, yes. The decisions, the direction, the daily work of showing up;  that is mine. But I have never truly felt alone in this journey. Not once.

What I have found, again and again, is that when you are aligned with your purpose and willing to take the next step, something remarkable tends to happen. Opportunities appear at exactly the right moment. The right people cross your path. A conversation opens a door you didn’t know existed. A challenge that felt impossible teaches you exactly what you needed to learn.

I don’t think this is coincidence. I think it is what happens when you are living in alignment with what you are genuinely here to do.

Each step has naturally opened the door to the next. I didn’t need to see the whole staircase. I just needed to trust the step in front of me.

What Entrepreneurship Has Taught Me

If I had to name the gifts this journey has given me, they would be these:

Resilience. The ability to keep going when things don’t go as planned — and they often don’t. To see a setback not as a signal to stop, but as information about how to adjust and continue.

Patience. Real patience. Not the passive kind, but the active, intentional kind — the willingness to plant seeds and trust that they will grow in their own time, without forcing or rushing what is not yet ready.

Confidence. Not the kind that comes from having all the answers, but the kind that comes from showing up, again and again, and discovering that you are more capable than you thought.

Creativity. Because entrepreneurship demands it. When the conventional path doesn’t work, you find another way. You innovate. You adapt. You discover resources within yourself you didn’t know existed.

And above all — trust. Trust in my intuition. Trust in the process. Trust that the work I am doing matters, even on the days when the evidence is thin and the doubt is loud.

These are not just business lessons. They are life lessons. And they have shaped not only how I run Wellness For Joy, but how I move through the world.

Each of Us Has a Unique Calling

One of the things I believe most deeply — and that this journey has only strengthened — is that each of us carries a unique calling.

Not a role assigned to us by someone else. Not a path defined by what is practical or expected or safe. But something specific to who we are, rooted in our particular combination of gifts, experiences, wounds, and wisdom.

For me, answering that call meant saying yes to Wellness For Joy.

I didn’t have every answer when I began. I didn’t have a perfect plan or a guaranteed outcome. I had a feeling — deep, clear, and persistent — that I was meant to take the next step. And so I did.

You Don’t Need to See the Whole Path

If you are standing at a threshold right now — whether it is the beginning of something new, or simply the next chapter of something already underway — I want to offer you what I wish someone had offered me more clearly at the start of this journey:

You don’t need to see the entire path.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to feel ready in the way you imagine readiness is supposed to feel. You don’t need to eliminate all the uncertainty before you begin.

What you need is the courage to take the next step. And the willingness to trust — even imperfectly, even nervously — that the way will unfold as you walk it.

It will challenge you. It will surprise you. It will ask more of you than you thought you had. And it will give back more than you thought possible.

That is the journey. And it is more than worth it.

With love,
Fabienne
